Step 1: Prep the Hair

Prep the hair by spraying Purify & Revive PRIME Demineralizing Spray generously throughout the hair, combing through for even distribution and allowing to sit for 3 minutes (no rinsing or shampoo required) to diminish any hard water minerals.

Step 2: Section

Divide the hair into the PRAVANA standard four quadrants by taking a radial parting from behind the ear to behind the ear and a second parting from nose to nape.

Step 3: Global Blonding

Using your favorite Global Blonding technique, pre-lighten the new regrowth to Level 10 utilizing the Lightening Formula.

Process up to 55 minutes checking every 5 to 10 minutes. Cleanse the hair with PRAVANA Intense Therapy Cleanse. Rinse, towel-dry and apply Silk Degrees Prep & Treat for 5 minutes at the basin to equalize the porosity and provide anchoring sites for your color application.

Step 4: Toning

Apply the Toning formula from roots to ends.

Process 5 minutes at room temperature. Rinse and dry the hair completely making it as smooth as possible, flat-ironing if necessary.

Step 5: Holographic Color Application

Divide the hair into the PRAVANA standard four quadrants as in Step 2. Beginning in one of the front quadrants, find the natural part and take a horizontal parting about one inch below creating a rectangle. Holding the rectangle in its natural fall and beginning ¼” down from the top of the rectangle, paint ¼” stripes alternating the three VIVIDS Formulas, leaving a little space in between each stripe, and repeat on the other side. (Just one on each side).

Process 30 minutes at room temperature. Rinse with cold water and high water pressure until the water runs clear, condition with PRAVANA Color Protect Condition and style as desired.
