Step 1: Section

Divide the hair into the PRAVANA standard four quadrants by taking a radial parting from ear to ear and a second parting from nose to nape. In the left rear quadrant, create a 2” block section by taking a horizontal parting 2” above the nape. In the right front quadrant, create a mirrored 2” block section by taking a parting 2” back from the forehead to the middle of the ear parallel to the hairline.

Step 2: Pre-Lighten – Block Sections

Utilizing a Platinum Card technique and the Lightening Formula, pre-lighten the mirrored block sections starting your application ½” away from the base.

Once you have reach 70% of the lift, go back and apply the same Lightening Formula on scalp.

Step 3: All Over Color

While the lightener is processing, apply the HydraGloss Formula to the remaining hair.

Process the lightener up to 55 minutes at room temperature checking every 5 to 10 minutes until you reach a Level 10. Keep in mind HydraGloss processes in 20 minutes so you may need to rinse that first. Thoroughly cleanse the hair with PRAVANA’s Intense Therapy Cleanse, rinse and dry the lightened block sections (only) completely.

Step 4: VIVIDS Application

Apply the ChromaSilk VIVIDS Formula to the pre-lightened mirrored block sections.

Process 30 minutes at room temperature. Rinse the VIVIDS panels with cold water and high water pressure until the water runs clear. Apply PRAVANA’s Color Protect Condition all over, rinse and style as desired.
