Step 1: Pre-Lightening

Pre-lighten the hair using your favorite Global Blonding technique and the Lightening Formula.

Process up to 55 minutes checking every 5 to 10 minutes until you reach a Level 10. Cleanse with Intense Therapy Cleanse and towel-dry.

Step 2: Toning

Apply the Toning Formula to the base dragging it down 2 inches, then apply quickly to the midlengths and ends.

Process 5 minutes at room temperature. Cleanse lightly again with PRAVANA’s Intense Therapy Cleanse and dry the hair completely.

Step 3: Sectioning

In one of the front quadrants, create a triangle section by taking a diagonal back parting from the inside corner of the eyebrow to 2” back from the hairline, then take another parting to behind the ear. Repeat on the other side. In the back, create an “M” section by taking a diagonal forward parting from behind the ear to the middle of the crown and a diagonal back parting to the occipital bone on each side. Create a chevron nape section by taking a diagonal back parting from the middle point of the “M” parallel to the first parting.

Step 4: VIVIDS Application

Apply VIVIDS Formula 2 to the entire nape section from roots to ends. Above the nape on each side, divide each half of the ”M” section into three horizontal subsections. Apply VIVIDS Formula 1 to the bottom subsection, VIVIDS Formula 2 to the middle subsection and VIVIDS Formula 1 to the top subsection. In the front, divide each section into two vertical subsections applying VIVIDS Formula 1 to the front subsection and VIVIDS Formula 2 to the subsection behind that section.

Process 30 minutes at room temperature. Rinse with cold water and high water pressure until the water runs clear. Condition with PRAVANA’s Color Protect regimen and style as desired.
